We have the honor to invite you to the International Conference The Social Inclusion Debate: Strategies and Dilemmas that will take place on March 1-2nd 2017, at Grand Hotel Napoca, Cluj-Napoca.
The conference is organized by the Intercommunity Development Association of Cluj Metropolitan Area together with its project partners Habitat for Humanity Cluj, AltArt Foundation and Community Association of Roma from Coastei within the Pata-Cluj project, fully named “Social interventions for the desegregation and social inclusion of vulnerable groups in Cluj Metropolitan Area, including the disadvantaged Roma”, financed through the ‘Poverty Alleviation Program’, by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014.
The conference aims to offer a proper framework for debates and presentations of new approaches on social inclusion. The event will host, in a multidisciplinary and dynamic context, presentation sessions, working groups with specialists and Pata Rât community members, platforms for networking and sharing experiences, as well as a related cultural program.
The main themes proposed for debate are: research and intervention methods and approaches in vulnerable communities and the related professional dilemmas, social inclusion policies, participative approach, social housing and advocacy.
The event represents a presentation platform of the Pata-Cluj project results, project implemented by the Intercommunity Development Association of Cluj Metropolitan Area together with its partners during 2014-2017.
